Varsity Football Youth Night

• 4:30pm - 7:00pm, September 17th, 2010
• OYF players will be presented between quarters as noted below. Players wear your jerseys. Players get in free to this game. See instructions below from Bucky Meiras. We would like the 4th and 5th grade teams to report down by the track gate (this is the gate by the garage) to begin walking in front of the crowd with 2 minutes to go before the end of the first quarter. The same will be expected of the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams toward the end of the 3rd quarter. We would like the coaches to be with the teams and we will introduce the teams as grade and team number and then will introduce the coaches as they are walking. The players are expected to be respectful and to wave and cheer as they walk. We will need the teams lined up in number order. The teams will walk down the track on the part that says Orono Spartans and will enter the gate in the front of the stands after they are announced. We will show the teams the path to walk. We will also have an area setup for the teams and coaches/supervisors to sit and cheer. Coaches and/or supervisors are expected to be with the players and teams for safety. Please ask the head coach of each team to check in with me when he/they arrive so we have connected before we start the march and can communicate any changes or concerns that may change things. We will make an announcement for the teams to report so we can help facilitate getting all of the players where they need to be. Let me know if you have any questions.
