Registration

2009 Season Registration Open May 1 to June 30, 2009

In an effort to improve team, coach, game, and equipment planning, registration has been moved earlier.

OnLine registration

$200 for the first player per family in the OYF program.

$100 for each additional player per family in grades 4-8

There will be a $50 late registration fee per player on/after July 1st.

We have added optional donation selections within the registration. As noted in news/events, Orono Youth Football is participating in the new LMAA Tyler Hill Scholarship Fund. See News/Events for details. General fund donations will assist in team practice equipment. Facilities donations are directed toward overall improvement needs within Orono facilities, which benefit our players today and in the future.

Please select the appropriate box for each player in your family on the registration form.

Eligible players for Orono Youth Football include all students eligible for school at Orono. This includes active students, students living within the district that attend other schools and students from other districts that open enroll at Orono. We do open the program for players outside in nearby communities if there is not a program in their community. Late registration may be subject to availability by grade due to team size.

All registration is online. There is no mail option.

Orono Youth Football wants everyone to play. If you are in need of scholarship funds, please contact Ron Carlson at 763 475-7001.

Coaches: we are always in need of coaches. If you are interested in volunteering, please see the "Coaches" section under the Home page.

General Practice & Game Schedules

Practice begins August 10. Since we have parent coaches, practice is generally after work hours (typical start is 6:00 +/-). Each coach sets the exact schedule for their team.

There are no scheduled activities on Wednesday, Friday, or Sundays.

Games will start September 1 and run until October 13. Game days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday evenings at 6:30 or 8:00 starts, and Saturday starts at 9:00, 10:30, and 12:00. Games run about 90 minutes.  We work to avoid late games for 4th grade teams on weeknights (not a guarantee).
